The international Board of the EITI, the global standard for natural resource governance, is taking place in Oslo, Norway on 1 and 2 June.
The Board meeting is chaired by Fredrik Reinfeldt, Swedish Prime Minister from 2006-2014. The Board will review progress in the 51 EITI implementing counties. Other key topics will include agreeing a revised schedule for Validating EITI implementation, a review of funding, and governance changes following the Global Conference in Lima.
