On November 22, 2016, in Rrëshen district, Albanian EITI Secretariat held direct meetings at work sites with the leaders of “Brian Mine 2013” and “Ayen Enerji A.Ş.” companies. After the current reports that we received from the Independent Administrator, Deloitte Audit Albania, result that some companies operating in the extractive industries sector that have not reported the details of payments made to the State for 2015 fiscal year. Albanian EITI Secretariat is determined to encourage all companies that have not yet reported the EITI reporting firstly is a legal obligation requiring revenue transparency in the extractive industry and the second is a great prestige to contribute to the full transparency of this sector.
